STANDARD CONCRETE MIXES
10 - 45 Mpa
Superior quality concrete designed for a wide variety of in-situ concrete applications.
Workability : 100mm Slump Our Standard Mixes are proportioned 70/30 ( 70% Cement and 30% Cement Extender) and a choice between 13mm or 19mm Stone can be used as the course aggregate (Larger stones can be used on request), depending on the need or application. Fly Ash is used as an extender and offers great benefits to the density (durability) and work-ability of the fresh concrete.

Product Info:
Our standard concrete product range is designed and manufactured in accordance with SANS 878 specifications, the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) and National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC)to perform optimally for general and a wide variety of in situ concrete applications in the residential, commercial and civil construction industry.
Our Mix Compositions are 70/30 ( 70% Cement and 30% Extender) and we use CEMII 42.5R Portland early/ Rapid strength cement. Depending on the application a choice between 19mm or 13mm stone can be specified. The finest aggregates is used in our xix designs and regularly undergoes several quality and grading tests to ensure superior fresh concrete properties while acheiving specefied strengths and longterm durability

Concrete is discharged straight from the vehicle's chute to the placement area. Where the 4m chute extension can't reach the placement area, wheelbarrows, skip, crane lift or conveyor belts can be used. Instances where the placement area exceeds 10m distance from the vehicle we suggest ordering from the Concrete pump mix range and place concrete with a boom pump or alternatively a stationary pump should there be no space for the establishment of a concrete boom pump.
To order concrete you will need the following information:
1. Strength required
2. Volume(m³) Required
3. Delivery Address
We will send a quote based on the supplied details. If you are not sure about the volumes required, contact your engineur or architect for this information. You can also view the Volume calculator page. Please remember that it is always wise to measure on site as well and not just calculating based on plan drawings. Excavations, trench depths and surface level can influence the actual volumes required.
Discharge Method:
Our Standard Concrete range is designed to have a slump (Flowability) of 100mm Slump. We can lower the slump according to your needs and deliver a less workable dryer mix if the application requires it.
Concrete is discharged straight from the chute of the vehicle, 2 Extension chutes can be added to acheive a total length and reach of 4.5m to the placement area. It is critical that a vehicle is at least 1.5m away from the edges of trenches and foundations to prevent the trench walls to cave in.
