Exposed Aggregate
Decorative Concrete
Our exposed aggreagte concrete range is designed with concrete mixes containing more stone in the mixes. Minimim strength of 30Mpa is normally required to ensure sufficient bond of the exposed aggregates.
Exposed Aggregate concrete
Exposed aggregate concrete is a concrete finish where the aggregates in the concrete are partly exposed, this is achieved by removing a thin layer of the surface paste of the concrete.
Different sizes and colours of aggregates can be used to get a variety of final finishes. Exposed aggregate mixes are normally designed to achieve a minimum of 30 Mpa compressive strength to have suffiecient bond of the partly exposed aggregates.
Common uses are walkways, pathways and non-slip surfaces around swimmingpools or on staircases.
Product info:
Exposed aggregate concrete is designed to reach 28day strengths of 30Mpa and 80% of the strength in the first 7 days.
The desired finish, colour aggregate, and colour concrete needs to be specified which will determine the mix design and cost of the product. We suggest contacting our sales team for more in-depth information and to ensure the results is clearly specified.
How to Order:
Please contact our sales team to place an order to discuss the details of your order and the desired finish of the exposed aggregate concrete.
